I really can't say that I know Teddy Pendergrass, like my mother would know him. But I have heard several songs by Teddy Pendergrass and has jammed to all of them. He was popular in the 70's and 80's as a R&B sex symbol. Pendergrass was in a horrible car accident that left him in a wheel chair in 1982, and died today from colon cancer.
